Workshop Etiquette

It is important that we respect other participants and the environment in our life drawing classes and mind our manners so as to create a good atmosphere for study.

Please observe the following when joining a workshop. Violators may be asked to leave.

  1. Let’s not behave noisily or talk too loudly so as to enable other participants to concentrate.
  2. Our models are helping us as an integral part of our creative activities. While our models are posing, let’s respectfully draw them and take care not to violate their privacy. Photos and videos may not be taken and tablets etc. may not be used.
  3. During the drawing classes, let’s keep our equipment etc. neat so as not to bother other participants. Let’s keep our workspace clear so as not to obstruct people around us or cause accidents.
  4. During the drawing classes, we use erasers, charcoal, paints, and other materials. Let’s pick up garbage and clean up any messes so as to keep our work environment sanitary and not place a burden on others or the facilities. Please take your unneeded equipment, garbage, etc. home with you.
  5. Entry into the studio during poses is not allowed. Please enter before the starting time of posing. If you can’t enter the studio before the pose start time, please wait outside the studio until the pose session ends.

Proper manners in the drawing class are important for smooth joint creative activities. Let’s work with other participants and support each other in our artistic growth.
